31st May 2008 - Swedish Flight Cleared Through Yangon International Airport
An Air Cargo AN-12 Plane from Sweden was cleared on May 31st 2008 at 2:00am. Consigned by the Swedish Rescue Services Agency (International Department), the flight came in directly from Gothenburg in Sweden to Yangon International Airport.
Personnel from Swedish Rescue Service Agency (SRSA) accompanied the flight, which Water Treatment Plant donated to Save the Children. Two members of the SRSA Team can be seen in their flight suits with fluorescent badges on board the cargo hold planning the unloading of the crates of equipment at Yangon International Airport.
